Ce travail traduit d’un héritage familial lié à l’expérience d’une vie pastorale. Il y a dans cette vie retirée, l’idée du resserrement autour de quelques objets et actes très archaïques. L’exigence du travail quotidien, soumis aux variations de la pluie, du vent et du temps rehausse le rapport qu’on entretient avec la beauté de ce qui nous entoure. Cette relation privilégiée nous permet d’atteindre une expression de l’architecture dans ce qu’elle a de plus pur. Il se construit dans ces expériences de dénuement, une confrontation à l’essentiel qui façonne un goût pour le contemplatif. Notre perception ainsi désencombrée nous introduit dans une manière de vivre plus intensément. Nous appartenons irrévocablement à ces lieux dont la rencontre nous fait voir les choses différemment.

Notre bureau propose une pratique multidisciplinaire qui s’étend de l’architecture aux aménagements intérieur. Les travaux réalisés ont été publiés et l’activité se développe en France et à l’étranger. L’engagement universitaire fait également partie de nos préoccupations, notamment depuis 2023, en tant qu’intervenant dans le workshop international d’architecture et de paysage, organisé en Espagne par l’agence RCR arquitectes récompensée du prestigieux prix Pritzker.

This work reflects a familial heritage tied to the experience of a pastoral life. In this secluded existence lies the idea of focusing on a few objects and archaic practices. The daily demands of work, subject to the variations of rain, wind, and weather, elevate the connection with the beauty of our surroundings. These attitudes shape a taste for contemplation that accompanies a confrontation with the essential. In these experiences of deprivation, a fruitful relationship is built between our connection to the world and what surrounds us. Sensitive to listening, seeing, smelling, and touching, which awaken and imprint upon us, we access the definition of architecture in its purest form. The pleasures encountered in this primitive and uncluttered way of life bring us closer to a way of being and living more intensely.
To be from somewhere is to encounter something that makes us see things differently.

The office based in Bordeaux (France) is a multi disciplinary architectural practice working on projects ranging from residential, hotels, shops, restaurants and wine-growing equipments. The activity extend from architecture to interior design, scenography and custom furniture design. The projects carried out have been published internationally and the activity is currently developing in France and abroad. University engagement is also one of our concerns. Since 2023, as a guest teacher in the International Architecture and Landscape Workshop curated by world acclaimed Pritzker Prize architects RCR in Olot, Spain.
